Web3 Ecosystem User Agreement
Dear User:
Thank you for choosing Coinstore services. The "Coinstore Service Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is signed by Coinstore Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "we") and the user (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "the user"). This Agreement has a contractual legal effect between you and the Company.
The Company hereby reminds you to carefully read the "Coinstore Service Agreement" and other relevant agreements mentioned below, especially the provisions of "Disclaimer and Liability Limitation" stipulated in this Agreement, which will be highlighted in bold font, before using Coinstore (hereinafter referred to as "Coinstore" or the software. Coinstore can be downloaded on various mobile application platforms, including but not limited to Google Play and App Store), to ensure that you fully understand the terms of this Agreement and independently consider the risks.
I. Confirmation and Acceptance of this Agreement
- You understand that this Agreement and related agreements apply to Coinstore and the decentralized applications (DApps) developed and owned by the Company on Coinstore (excluding third-party-developed DApps).
- By downloading the Coinstore software and creating or importing a wallet, you are deemed to have fully read and accepted all the terms of this Agreement. This Agreement immediately takes effect and is binding on both parties.
- This Agreement may be updated by the Company at any time. Once the modified agreement is published on Coinstore, it will take effect immediately without further notice. After the Company announces the modified terms of the agreement, if you do not accept the modified terms, please immediately stop using Coinstore. Your continued use of Coinstore will be deemed as acceptance of the modified agreement.
- If you are under 18 years old, or a person without capacity for civil conduct or with limited capacity for civil conduct, please use Coinstore under the guidance of your parents or guardians.
II. Definitions:
- Coinstore Wallet:
refers to the blockchain wallet developed by the Company based on blockchain systems such as Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, and other blockchain systems that will be supported in the future, including other auxiliary tools developed for users to use blockchain systems conveniently. - User:
- The user must be a natural person with full capacity for civil conduct.
- If you are a minor under the age of 18 using Coinstore services, you need to use Coinstore under the guidance of your parents or guardians. If a person without the capacity for civil conduct or a person with restricted civil conduct exceeds his/her civil rights or capacity for actions to engage in transactions using Coinstore, all consequences caused by it shall be the responsibility of the user and his/her parents or guardians, and Coinstore shall have the right to request compensation.
- Excluded persons:
-
- Persons other than natural persons who have the legal and conscious ability to conclude this Agreement; or
- Users who are prohibited, restricted, unauthorized, or unqualified to use the services (as defined in this Agreement) in any form or manner (in whole or in part) due to this Agreement, laws, regulatory requirements or provisions applicable to the jurisdiction where the user is located. For the avoidance of doubt, Chinese users are also covered by the definition of "excluded persons."
- Use-related:
- Create or import a wallet: refers to the process of using Coinstore, confirming the fulfillment of this Agreement, and creating or importing a wallet.
- Payment password: refers to the password prompted by the software interface during the creation of the Coinstore wallet, which is used to encrypt and protect the private key. As a decentralized application, the wallet password is not stored on the Company's server and cannot be recovered once lost.
- Private key: composed of 256 random characters, it is the core of the user's possession and use of digital tokens.
- Public key: generated by the private key through cryptographic principles and used to generate the blockchain digital wallet address, which is the public receiving address.
- Mnemonic phrase: composed of 12 (or 15/18/21/24) ordered words generated by a random algorithm that complies with the industry standard of blockchain BIP39. It is an easy-to-remember representation of the private key, making it convenient for users to backup and store.
- Third-party service: refers to the products and services provided by third parties, including third-party DApps, third-party DeFi, third-party smart contracts, third-party open-source protocols, third-party websites, third-party hardware wallets, third-party online web wallets, third-party exchanges, etc.
III. Service Content
- Wallet creation or import. For digital tokens supported by Coinstore, you can use Coinstore to generate a new wallet or import a compatible wallet generated by other blockchain system tools.
- Transfer and receipt. You can use Coinstore's transfer and receipt function to manage digital tokens, which involves using a private key for an electronic signature to modify the ledger of the relevant blockchain. Transfer refers to the payment party using the blockchain address of the recipient to initiate a transfer operation. The actual transfer and receipt behavior occurs in the relevant blockchain system (not Coinstore).
- Market view. You can use Coinstore to view the exchange rates of digital tokens provided. Coinstore obtains the corresponding exchange rate information and displays it in the "market" section.
- Asset management. You can use Coinstore to add, store, and remove digital tokens supported by Coinstore.
- Browse DApps. Users can use links on Coinstore to navigate to and use DApps (including our own and third-party DApps).
- Transaction records. We will copy all or part of your transaction records through the blockchain system, but the blockchain system's records prevail.
- Service suspension. You understand that due to the "irreversible" nature of blockchain transactions, we cannot suspend or revoke transfer transactions or other operations. However, under certain circumstances, we may suspend or restrict a user's operation of the Coinstore software.
IV. Common issues for users accepting the services provided by the Company are as follows:
- Adhering to the decentralized nature of blockchain and to protect the safety of user's digital tokens, the Company provides decentralized services, which are significantly different from those of banks and financial institutions. Users understand that the Company (decentralized solution) does not provide the following services:
-
- Storing user's wallet password (i.e., the password set by the user when creating/importing the wallet), private key, or mnemonic phrase;
- Retrieving user's wallet password, private key, or mnemonic phrase;
- Freezing wallets;
- Reporting lost/stolen wallets;
- Recovering wallets;
- Rolling back transactions.
-
- As we do not provide the services mentioned above, users should be responsible for safeguarding their mobile devices containing Coinstore, backing up Coinstore, backing up wallet passwords, mnemonic phrases, and private keys. In case of loss of mobile devices, deletion of Coinstore without backup, deletion of wallets without backup, wallet theft or forgetting wallet passwords, private keys, and mnemonic phrases, we cannot restore the wallet or retrieve wallet passwords, private keys, and mnemonic phrases. If a user makes an error during a transaction, such as entering the wrong transfer address, we are unable to cancel the transaction as well.
- The digital asset management services provided by our company and Coinstore do not include all existing digital tokens. Please refrain from operating any digital tokens not supported by Coinstore.
- Coinstore is merely a tool for managing users' digital tokens and is not an exchange or trading platform. Although this agreement mentions "trading" several times, it refers to actions performed by users on Coinstore, such as transfers and receipts, which differ significantly from transactions on exchanges or trading platforms.
- The DApps integrated into Coinstore include both our own and third-party platforms' DApps. For third-party DApps, Coinstore only provides a blockchain browser for users to access them. Users should assess and evaluate the services or transactions provided by the third-party DApps themselves for any risks before accepting services or conducting transactions on them.
V. Your Rights and Obligations
- Wallet Creation or Importation
- Wallet Creation or Importation: You have the right to create and/or import a wallet through Coinstore on your mobile device, set the wallet password, and other information, and use your wallet to make transactions such as transfers and receipts on the blockchain through the Coinstore application.
- Our company may develop different software versions for different terminal devices. You should download the appropriate version according to your actual needs. If you obtain this software from an unauthorized third party or install a program with the same name as this software, our company cannot guarantee the software's normal use or its security, and any resulting losses will be borne by you.
- After the release of a new version of this software, the old version may become unusable. Our company does not guarantee the security, continued availability, and provision of corresponding customer service for the old version. Please check and download the latest version at any time.
- Use
- The user should properly safeguard the mobile device, wallet password, private key, mnemonic, and other information. Our company is not responsible for safeguarding the above information for users. You are solely responsible for any risks, liabilities, losses, expenses resulting from the loss of the mobile device, intentional or passive disclosure, forgetting the wallet password, private key, mnemonic, or being attacked or defrauded by others.
- Follow the information prompts. You understand and agree to follow the information prompts provided by Coinstore and to follow the prompt's instructions. Otherwise, you will bear any resulting risks, liabilities, losses, expenses, etc. on your own.
- You understand and acknowledge that Coinstore has no obligation to conduct due diligence on linked third-party DApp services or transactions, and you should make investment decisions rationally and assume corresponding investment risks independently.
- Transfers
- You understand that based on the "irreversible" attribute of blockchain operations, when you use the transfer function of Coinstore, you should bear the consequences of any operation errors caused by you (including but not limited to inputting the wrong transfer address, selecting a problematic transfer node server by yourself, etc.).
- You understand that the following situations may cause "transaction failure" or "packaging timeout" when using Coinstore services:
- Insufficient wallet balance;
- Insufficient transaction miner fee;
- Failure in executing contract code on the blockchain;
- Technical malfunctions such as network and devices;
- Transactions abandoned due to blockchain network congestion, malfunctions, etc.;
- Your address or the transaction counterparty's address is identified as a special address, such as a high-risk address, an exchange address, an ICO address, a token address, etc.
- You understand that Coinstore only provides you with transfer tools. After you complete the transfer with Coinstore, our company has fulfilled all obligations for that transaction, and we do not assume any obligations for other disputes or controversies.
- Legality and Compliance. You understand that when using Coinstore or using DApps on Coinstore for transactions, you should follow the requirements of relevant laws, regulations, and national policies.
- Notices. Coinstore will send you notifications through website announcements, emails, SMS, phone calls, messages in the message center, pop-up windows, or client notifications, etc., such as notifying you of transaction progress or prompting you to take relevant actions. Please pay attention to them in a timely manner.
- Service Fees and Tax Obligations:
- Coinstore does not currently charge you any form of service or transaction fees. If we charge for certain services in the future, we will inform you separately or publish the rules;
- When you use Coinstore for transfers, you should pay the mining fee, which is determined by yourself. The mining fee will be charged by the relevant blockchain system;
- You understand that in certain circumstances, due to the unstable environment and network status where you are located, the mining fee may still be charged by the relevant blockchain system even if your transfer operation is not completed;
- You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes and other fees incurred by you as a result of your transactions on Coinstore.
VI. Risk Disclaimer
- You understand and acknowledge that due to the incomplete legal and regulatory policies in the field of digital tokens, significant risks such as the inability to redeem and technological instability may arise in this field. The price fluctuations of digital tokens are also much higher than those of other financial assets. We strongly advise you to make a rational decision based on your own financial situation and risk tolerance when choosing to hold or dispose of any digital tokens. The market viewing function provided by Coinstore only obtains the exchange rate information of some exchanges, and does not represent the latest market or the best quotation.
- When using Coinstore services, if you or your counterparty does not comply with this agreement or the instructions, rules, or operation prompts on relevant website pages, Coinstore does not guarantee the smooth completion of the transaction and will not be responsible for damages or compensation. If the aforementioned situation occurs, and the funds have already been credited to your or your counterparty's account in advance.
- You understand the "irreversible" nature of blockchain operations and the "irrevocable" characteristics of related transactions when using Coinstore wallet or third-party wallet, and bear the corresponding risks and consequences with your counterparty.
- When you use third-party DApp services integrated with Coinstore or conduct transactions, for your own interests, we recommend that you carefully read this agreement and Coinstore prompts, understand the trading object and product information, and carefully evaluate the risks before taking action. All trading behavior you conduct on third-party DApps is your personal behavior, and the binding contractual relationship is established between you and your counterparty, which is unrelated to Coinstore. Coinstore is not responsible for any risks, responsibilities, losses, or expenses caused by your trading behavior.
- During the transaction process, you should judge whether the counterparty is a person with full civil capacity and make your own decision on whether to conduct transactions or transfer tokens to the counterparty. You are solely responsible for all risks related to this.
- During the transfer process, if abnormal information such as "transaction failed" or "packaging timed out" appears, you should confirm again through the official channels of the relevant blockchain system or other blockchain query tools to avoid duplicate transfers. Otherwise, you will be solely responsible for all losses and expenses caused by this.
- You understand that after you create or import a wallet on Coinstore, your payment password, private key, mnemonic phrase, and other information are only stored on the current mobile device and not on Coinstore or our servers. You can follow the operating guide provided by Coinstore to synchronize wallets and change mobile devices. However, if you do not save or backup wallet password, private key, mnemonic phrase, and other information and your mobile device is lost, your digital tokens will be lost as well, and we cannot retrieve them for you. You must bear the corresponding losses by yourself. If you leak information when exporting, saving, or backing up wallet password, private key, mnemonic phrase, and other information or if the device or server that saves or backs up the above information is attacked or controlled by hackers, your digital tokens will be lost, and we cannot retrieve them for you. You must bear the corresponding losses by yourself.
- We recommend that you make a secure backup of your wallet password, private key, mnemonic phrase, and other information when creating or importing a wallet. We remind you not to use the following backup methods: screenshots, emails, notepads, text messages, and other electronic backup methods. We suggest that you copy the mnemonic phrase information to a paper notepad, and you can also keep the electronic data in a password manager.
- We recommend that you use Coinstore in a secure network environment and ensure that your mobile device is not jailbroken or rooted to avoid potential security risks.
- Please be vigilant of fraudulent activities that are not official Coinstore. If you discover such behavior, we encourage you to inform us as soon as possible.
VII. Changes, Interruptions, and Termination of Services
- You agree that the company may temporarily provide partial service functions or suspend some service functions in the future to ensure its independent business operations. When any function is reduced, increased, or changed, as long as you continue to use the services provided by the company, it indicates that you still agree to this Agreement or the revised terms of this Agreement.
- You understand that the company will suspend the provision of services in the following situations:
- The interruption of business due to technical reasons such as equipment maintenance, blockchain system upgrade, failure, and communication interruption;
- The company's system cannot provide services due to force majeure factors such as typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, power outages, wars, or terrorist attacks, viruses, Trojan horses, hacker attacks, system instability, or government actions, or the company reasonably believes that continuing to provide services would entail significant risks;
- Other situations beyond the control or reasonable foreseeability of the company.

- Using Coinstore to promote spam advertising;
- Spreading rumors and damaging the reputation of the company and Coinstore;
- Illegal behavior, other behaviors that violate this Agreement, and situations that the company reasonably believes should suspend functions.
