Get support via the official channel
We’re always looking to provide efficient customer support, and am constantly working on it. However please note that Coinstore NFT Market Place does not offer official customer support on social channels or on Discord, which could make you the target of fraud. We recommend you seek help only through the official channel. If you’re going to ask a question in the community, stay careful.
Never share your privacy
Your wallet recovery phrase is your privacy which should not be shared with anyone under any circumstances, even those you trust. Coinstore NFT Marketplace is not a wallet provider and will not ask you for your wallet recovery phrase under any circumstances.
For information on the best way to secure your assets and tokens, go to your wallet provider's website and read their guides and tutorials.
Ensure your wallet APP and browser applet are officially provided
If you are going to add a wallet applet to your browser, make sure that the download link is available on the official website of the wallet. When downloading, check the applet's user reviews and developer information. If you are not sure, check with the provider.
Never click on links from unknown sources
Stay vigilant when browsing websites and interacting with others on social media or Discord. Avoid clicking on any unfamiliar ads, images, or links.
Do not use previously used passwords or password managers
Repeated use of the same password in multiple accounts can make your account more vulnerable to leaking. If you're worried about getting lost in a bunch of special network characters, try a password generator like IPassword or LastPass.
Use Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Enable two-factor authentication on Google Authenticator and Authy. Try to avoid SMS two-factor authentication as it has many potential security issues. You can also consider using hardware-based two-factor authentication devices for additional security. Google Titan, Thesis, and Yubico are some devices for your option.
Use a crypto hardware wallet
Using a hardware wallet can add an extra layer of protection for your money and NFT. Many users prefer to use Ledger or Trezor.
For more security, consider using a "disconnected computer" with your hardware device. A disconnected computer is a machine that has never been connected to the network.
However, like other hardware devices, you still need to make sure your wallet is safe and you can't lose it!
Limit smart contract approvals
If you are using MetaMask, please make sure to check your spending limits when approving the transaction. Click on "Edit on Permission" and then set a spending limit for each currency.
Avoid cold emails and downloading files from strangers
It’s better to ignore emails, files, and QR codes from strangers. Including PDF, attachments in any format can bring viruses or malware.
If the email content looks too perfect to be true, then it probably isn’t real.
Unfortunately, some frauds will take advantage of people who are new to
NFT community. If someone makes you an offer that’s seemingly too perfect, then probably is fraudulent.
Before you buy NFT from a seller on Coinstore NFT Marketplace, do your due diligence on the seller, the collection, the individual NFT item, and the history of NFT.
Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible, so your due diligence on the product is essential - and it's interesting to get insights into the story behind each NFT!
